Alison Moore
Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of Geriatric Medicine
An East Coast native, Moore earned both her M.D. and M.P.H. from Tulane University in 1987. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Rhode Island Hospital in 1990, the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program in 1993 and a fellowship in geriatric medicine in 1994. She arrived at UCLA that same year.

What is the best thing about working at UCLA?
Wonderful collegiality and unlimited opportunity.

Which living person do you most admire, and why?
My dad, because he is the most generous person I know.

If you hadn't chosen your current occupation, what would you have become?
Foundation executive because, like physicians, they have the means to change lives for the better.
