Lee, who received his bachelor's degree in architecture from USC, said it was his "childhood dream to be an architect." Involved in constructing large buildings of more than a million square feet, he worked on six hospitals while with the County of Los Angeles Project Management Division for nine years before coming to UCLA in 1998.
What is your greatest extravagance?
I'm in the process of looking to buy a second home just for the sake of taking on a restoration project.

'60s rock and pop. Beatles and British invasion groups.

Jesus Christ, John Wooden, George Patton.
