A new look for UCLA Today

Dear Readers:

In case you haven’t noticed, UCLA Today has a new look. UCLA is truly an amazing place, thanks in large measure to your efforts. So, after taking to heart your feedback from our recent readership survey and adding in new ideas of our own, I am pleased to unveil this redesigned newspaper developed by our University Communications team.

You told us you wanted a publication that informs and inspires. One where you can learn about and take advantage of UCLA’s many opportunities for engagement. And, on the practical side, you asked for a publication that communicates about issues relevant to your work lives.

Among the changes you’ll find: more in-depth coverage on specific academic and administrative topics; a new research beat; and a “Where Are We?” quiz, a fun way to look at the campus landscape. We changed the publication’s layout to a more dynamic, contemporary format. We also switched to full color and introduced more readable and contemporary typefaces, as well as larger and more dramatic photographs.

So please keep on reading. Our goal is to provide you with news, features and editorials that inform, inspire and celebrate all that is UCLA. We hope you like it!
