UCPD now on Kinross Avenue
The University of California Police Department (UCPD) has relocated to the Kinross Building, 11000 Kinross Avenue, Suite 102, UCPD Chief Karl Ross announced. The UCPD will occupy the interim location during construction of a new police station at its current location on Westwood Blvd. All current public services will be provided at the interim police station. See a map of the UCPD's new location.
"The new police station construction is a key campus strategic initiative providing an opportunity to build a station that meets state accessibility requirements and the current California seismic standards for 'essential services buildings,'" said Ross. "Additionally, the new station will efficiently facilitate today's police functions, meeting the current and future needs to best serve and insure the safety of the campus community."
In addition to providing services at the temporary police station, UCPD staff is always available to provide assistance at locations campuswide.
Call 310-825-1491 in an emergency, to inquire about services or for general information. This and other current UCPD telephone numbers will remain the same, as will the mailing address, 601 Westwood Plaza, and mail code 136408.
