An Artist's Response to HIV/AIDS
To explore how artists worldwide have responded to the HIV/AIDS epidemic and how their work has raised awareness and inspired activism, the Fowler Museum will be the first to present "Make Art/Stop AIDS," a traveling exhibition of more than 60 works from the U.S., South Africa, India and Brazil. Curated by two UCLA faculty members from the Department of World Arts and Cultures, David Gere and Robert Sember, the exhibition runs from Feb. 23 to June 15.
