Professor’s documentary wins coveted Telly award
A television documentary produced by and featuring
Thomas Gillespie, associate professor of geography, has won a Bronze Telly Award. The Telly is one of the most sought-after awards in the television and video industry. “The World’s Most Endangered Forests: Tropical Dry Forests of of Oceania” charts Gillespie's travels to study the biodiversity, endangered plants and culture of Oceania in October, 2010.
